The Kaiju No. 8 anime, based on Naoya Matsumoto’s manga, has revealed a new promotional video focusing on protagonist Kafka Hibino. This PV highlights different facets of his personality and transformation, using eight keywords to represent his essence, from comedic moments to action-packed scenes.

Highlights in the video include one of the series' most unexpected lines, "Peeing from a strange place," as well as an emotional flashback to his childhood, where Kafka and his childhood friend Mina Ashiro make a promise that will shape their fate. His fierce determination when fighting as Kaiju No. 8 is also on display, cementing his role as a key figure in the story.
This release comes at a key time for the franchise, as a recap of the first season , accompanied by a short titled “Hoshina’s Day Off,” will be released in Japanese theaters on March 28. Additionally, fans can look forward to the premiere of the second season in July of this year .
As if that were not enough, it has been confirmed that other characters will also receive their own PVs , which will be revealed in the coming weeks.
