Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugenjou-hen movie reveals key visual and release date
The Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugenjou-hen film , based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge , has confirmed the premiere date of its first chapter for July 18, 2024. Along with this announcement, a new key visual has been revealed, showing Tanjiro Kamado and the Demon Slayer Squad facing off against Muzan Kibutsuji's forces at the infamous Infinite Fortress .
This new chapter of the Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugenjou-hen film will be the first installment of a trilogy that will adapt the long-awaited Infinite Fortress arc , where the final battle against Muzan and his most powerful demons will take place.
A massive release with IMAX and more than 443 cinemas
The first chapter of Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugenjou-hen will be the start of a film trilogy and will be released simultaneously in standard and IMAX formats . In Japan, the film will be available in 390 theaters in its standard version and in 53 IMAX theaters , surpassing the record of Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Ressha-hen , which debuted in 2020.
Internationally, the film will reach more than 150 countries and regions , ensuring a large-scale global release.
New key visual and advance ticket sales
The newly revealed key visual shows Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and the Demon Slayer Corps Pillars in front of the endless structure of the Infinite Fortress , where the final battle against Muzan Kibutsuji and his most powerful demons will take place.
In addition, two types of special pre-sale tickets have been announced for fans:
